Astolfo

The Duke of England and one of Charlemagne's paladin. After being released from Alcina's curse, he went on an adventure with other knights until they got separated by accident.

Aquilante

Aquilante the black, son of the paladin Oliviero. He and his twin brother Grifon joined Astolfo on his pilgrimage.

Bradamante

The Lady knight, daughter of Duke Amon and sister of Rinaldo and Ricciardetto. Constantly on the search for her Saracen lover Ruggiero. They kept getting separated for various silly reasons.

Doralice

Princess of Granada, Rodomonte's fiancée. She was later abducted by Mandricardo.

Gabrina

A kind and beautiful lady who Marfisa helped on her way. Zerbino won her after a duel. She proved to be the most lovely and amiable companion.

Grifon

Grifon the white, son of the paladin Oliviero. He and his twin brother Aquilante joined Astolfo on his pilgrimage.

Mandricardo

The King of Tartary, son of Agrican. Having triumphed over Rodomonte in love, he and Ruggiero had a fight to the death for the right to use Hector's emblem (again).

Marfisa

The Asian warrior queen, Ruggiero's long lost twin sister. She swore to not take off her armor until she had killed three kings but lost them while chasing after a thief in Innamorato. In Furioso, she joined Astolfo's party and regained her armor.

Melissa

The sorceress who talked to the spirit of Merlin and lived in an underground cave that was also his tomb. As Bradamante's best friend, she had helped her many time.
